The objective of the CBS-Web is to set up and run an open, credible and topical forum for CBS' communication with the outside world. Copenhagen Business School wants to communicate openly with its external stakeholders on the activities of the organisation - and do so in an easily understandable, reader-friendly language.

Dialogue
Parts of the website will contain discussion fora, while others contain newsletters. Whenever contact details are provided, an e-mail address and/or telephone number will be included.

Overall, CBS wants to promote a dialogue with all its stakeholders. Nevertheless, it is up to the individual unit to choose, what form this dialogue should take.

Internal information
In 2001, CBS established an intranet for employees, and in 2002 one for students. These communication tools have created a natural categorisation into information which is available to the outside world on the one hand and information available only to CBS on the other.

At present, efforts are ongoing to make the student's intranet available to interested external users, such as potential future students etc. CBS employees have access to part of the student intranet, including the debate fora.
