Privacy policy

Copenhagen Business School does not keep any records of data that may be used to reveal your identity, unless you sign up for certain services (such as the library, subscriptions to newsletters etc.). CBS will not hand over or sell any personal data to a third party.
Statistics
For purposes of development and improvement of the CBS-Web, statistics on users' movements on the website are collected on an ongoing basis. The web secretariat uses these statistics as totals only, e.g. to show which pages and browsers are preferred by our users. In order to obtain as accurate statistics as possible, we use cookies.
Cookies are used only to identify unique visitors. In addition, the following data are collected:
  • IP-address
  • URL (the page shown)
  • Time of visit
  • Referrer (the page you came from).
Cookies
A cookie is a small text message deposited on your computer, typically when you use an internet service. A cookie may also be placed temporarily on your computer in connection with a specific activity. In such cases the cookie is deleted, when you exit the service.
Data obtained from cookies cannot be used to collect personal data.
