Copyright rules also apply to the internet. You may only publicise or use material from the CBS-Web, if you have obtained permission from
the person in charge of the relevant webpage.
- As a rule, quoting from the daily press or from critical or scientific presentations is legal, provided that sources are clearly indicated
- Photos/illustrations: The copyright holder is always the photographer. It should be noted, however, that if the photo you want to use is a portrait, you also have to obtain permission from the person portrayed
- If the name of the photographer cannot be found on the page, you should always contact the person in charge (whose name is indicated at the bottom of the webpage)
- Use of the CBS logo and logotype: If you want to use CBS' logo, please contact Communications
- Linking to CBS web pages: Linking to homepages is always legal, and this is of course also the case of the CBS-Web. It is,
however, a prerequisite that the description of the link is loyal and only used for legal purposes. All pages of the CBS-Web have unique
addresses; this, nevertheless, does not mean that the link is 'stable', since the CBS-Web undergoes constant editing and therefore information is changed and moved.
Questions or queries? Please contact the

All individuals in charge of information pages on the CBS-Web are familiar with the copyright rules governing dissemination of information on the internet and are responsible for adhering to the rules.
CBS employees have access to detailed regulations on the intranet.
