History
Copenhagen Business School (also referred to as CBS) was established in 1917 by the Danish Society for the Advancement of Business Education (now known as FUHU) (text in Danish) as a private educational institution. FUHU would in Danish be: Forening for Unge Handelsmænds Uddannelse. In 1965 the business school gradually integrated into the Danish education system as an institution of higher education. Today CBS is regulated by the Danish Universities Act of 2003.
