Social Program

A social program is organized every summer for ISUP teachers.

Canal Boat

This photo was taken on the DFDS canal tour trip, in 2009.

Every year we arrange trips around Copenhagen, and below you can see some of them who are especially popular. Look forward to joining us in:

Walking tour & canal tour - A guided walking tour of Copenhagen's city center. Afterwards, sit back, relax and enjoy a one hour tour through Copenhagen's canals. We set sail from Nyhavn, continue through Christianshavn's Canal, pass by Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the Royal family, and much more.

Folk Dancing (together with ISUP students) - Most of the dances date from around 780-880 and were originally danced by farmers and poor people. The professional dance group, "Amagerlands Folkedansere", will teach you the steps of some traditional dances and will be accompanied by live music.

Christiania & Jazz Festival - A tour of Christiania is exciting and different! Come see to experience the uniqueness of Christiania. Afterwards join us at the big jazz festival held in Copenhagen every summer with more than 700 concerts and events citywide and about 100,000 viewers. This tradition is not only for jazz lovers but also for anyone who enjoys a relaxing summer night with great friends and a unique atmosphere in the heart of the city.

Bike trip - We meet at RÄdhuspladsen (in front of Copenhagen City Hall), and from there, we will drive around in wonderfull Copenhagen. If the weather lets us, we will also pass by the beach at Amager.

The following is a listing of a broad range of places and activities, if you have time to explore Denmark on your own.
