CBS' International Office is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all activities related to establishing and maintaining exchange agreements with universities abroad. The International Office also takes care of all matters relating to the exchange of students and teachers to and from CBS.

Every year, CBS receives approximately 1,000 exchange students from about 280 partner universities and sends out a slightly smaller number of CBS students. The responsibilities of the International Office include receiving and organising programmes for many visitors from CBS' partners. abroad.

The core activities of the International Office include processing of applications for study abroad for CBS students, the processing of international students' applications for coming on exchange to CBS, academic advising for these same students, arranging accomodation for the incoming students who require it, coordination of CBS' Intro Week and Buddy Programme coordinators, and organisation of the Summer University.

For incoming students, the International Office also provides the following services:

• Gathering and maintaining a database of all courses offered in a language other than Danish at CBS
• Information about CBS to CBS partner universities and their students
• Creation of many necessary brochures and guides about CBS for other external stakeholders.

In addition, the International Office provides the following services for outgoing students:

• A library of course catalogues, information brochures and other material from partners
• Travel reports prepared by CBS students (searchable in a database)
• Reference material on international study programmes, including scholarships.
