Spring 2010 |
|---|
The Exchange Crew team (fellow CBS students) arrange various activities in order to help exchange students adjust to CBS, receive an introduction to the Danes, the Danish culture, Copenhagen, and to the unique CBS academic experience. All exchange students are expected to participate, as it is an important part of the semester.
The daytime activities are compulsory since they provide the students with important basic knowledge about Denmark and CBS - information that will be very useful and is impossible to give to each of the 1,000+ exchange students on an individual basis.
In the evenings, the Exchange Crew plan a number of different social events such as an evening of traditional Danish folk dancing, and of course the highlight of the week - the Formal Welcome Dinner.
The evening activities are not compulsory, but we hope that international students will participate, as the program has been designed to provide students with an opportunity to meet other exchange students as well as CBS buddies: the beginning of important international networking activities for you, the future business graduate.
Since there are many exchange students (approximately 600 this spring), you will be placed into groups with the intention of maximizing the blending of nationalities and gender. In addition, undergraduate and graduate students are put in separate groups. You will in all likelihood find that you are not in the same group as a friend. This is intentional and you will not be allowed to change. This first week is the best opportunity you will have to meet as many new people as possible - make the most of it and enjoy the week!
Below are the group schedules and group members. You will also find the leaflet for your color group in your pigeon hole when you arrive at CBS.
