Freemovers

If you are a student who attends a university, with which Copenhagen Business School does not have an exchange and cooperation agreement, and who wants to study for a short period at a non-degree basis at CBS, you must apply as a Freemover.

CBS-studerende i Dalgas Have

Students coming from a university, with which CBS has an exchange agreement, will normally only be admitted under that agreement (i.e. upon nomination by their home university). Therefore, students from CBS' partners are not accepted as Freemovers.

Please be aware that the Danish government has passed new legislation that requires anyone coming from a non-EU/EEA country to pay tuition fees as follows:

  • Bachelor (Arts or Science): EUR 9,500 per year
  • Master of Arts: EUR 11,000 per year
  • Master of Science: EUR 12,500 per year.

Copenhagen Business School is unable to offer financial support or scholarships to international students. You will need to guarantee your own source of funding.

Be aware also that housing cannot be arranged for freemovers who do not pay tuition. You are welcome to make an application, but due to the difficult housing situation in Copenhagen, first priority must be given to exchange students, international degree students, and tuition paying freemover students.

In the case of too many applications for participation in any particular course, priority will be given to students studying at CBS on an exchange basis, as these students generate exchange places for CBS students at their home universities.
