The residence hall Kathrine Kollegiet is situated in Frederiksberg, a residential area of Copenhagen. Frederiksberg offers a great variety of parks, cafés and shops. Kathrine Kollegiet is also closely located to public transportation.

Type of Accommodation
Residence Hall with 6 floors, 74 rooms, five of these with wheelchair access. There is one large common room and kitchen on the ground floor that can be borrowed by special arrangement. There is a large courtyard for outdoor activities, such as basketball and soccer or just ofr sitting outside with friends. The building was renovated in 2004.

A statement from a former student: Kathrine Kollegiet is one of the largest residences, so you will soon make many friends. This residence is one of the few that offers double rooms, so possibly well suited for a couple or some very good friends studying at CBS.

Please be aware that from now through October 2010 there will major construction taking place directly behind Kathrine Kollegiet. As a result, there will obviously be noise and dust: unavoidable things that go hand-in-hand with construction.

Graduate
One floor is reserved for graduate students.

Rooms
The rooms vary in size, but single rooms are any where from 15 - 22 square meters. The shared rooms are between 27-39 square meters. (Measurements include the room itself and the en-suite bathroom.)

These are the different types of rooms available:

• 44 Small rooms with en-suite kitchenette and bathroom
• 10 Medium rooms with en-suite kitchenette and bathroom
• 4 Large rooms with en-suite kitchenette and bathroom
• 20 Shared rooms with en-suite kitchenette and bathroom

Bathrooms
Each room has its own en-suite bathroom.

Kitchen
Each room has its own en-suite kitchenette. In addition, there is a kitchen with a dining area on the ground floor in connection with the common room. The kitchen / common room can be booked by any student at the residence. Students must sign to receive a key and are responsible for cleaning the kitchen / room after use.

Laundry
There are laundry facilities (washing machines and dryers) in the building. These are located on the ground floor. Laundry expenses are not included in the rent. You will receive more information about the use of the laundry facilities upon arrival.

Telephone and Internet
Every room has a telephone for incoming calls. For outgoing calls a pre-paid phone card must be purchased. It is possible to access the Internet with a fast connection; however, computers are not provided. You will receive more information about the Internet access upon arrival.

Transportation
Kathrine Kollegiet is located close to Flintholm Metro Station, which takes you to the city centre in approximately10 minutes. You can reach CBS buildings either by bike (5-10 min.) or by metro (2-5 min.).
