Entrepreneurship is one of the key learning areas in the Full-time MBA Program at CBS. We aim to offer you the knowledge and skills in terms of the practice of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship strategy as well as ways and means to invigorate companies with an entrepreneurial spirit. We focus on idea development, opportunity recognition and opportunity analysis.
Collaboration
In collaboration with Venture Cup | Danmark, we connect you with the sprawling innovative and entrepreneurial start-up environment in Denmark. Founded by McKinsey, Venture Cup | Danmark is a leading player in terms of technology transfer and entrepreneurship. The goal of Venture Cup | Danmark is to help participants to turn their research and business ideas into professional business plans. The yearly business plan competition offered by Venture Cup | Danmark brings together high-achieving participants from universities and business schools in Denmark.
Inspiration
Participants will attend motivational events, educational seminars and workshops on topics such as venture capital, idea development, IPR / patent strategy, marketing, finance and legal issues. For international students, this is also an opportunity to discover Scandinavian working culture .
Through the courses, seminars and networking activities, MBA participants will get the chance to explore a range of ideas for starting their own business and developing an idea into a business plan. You can expect to work on a series of assignments with the aim of exploring and developing business ideas as well as looking at the challenges of starting and running a business. MBA participants, who consider starting their own business or serve in a business development role in companies, will gain valuable knowledge, skills and insights into the process of carrying through an idea/dream, creating structures, deadlines to make it into a reality.
