Class Content
Q: What is the emphasis of the part-time CBS Flexible Executive MBA?
A: The CBS Flexible Executive MBA takes a general management and leadership perspective and prepares you to take on broader and more challenging leadership positions. The program seeks to create value for you and your company from day one. The practice orientation means that what you learn will be applicable right away. Thus, the company-related assignments ensure immediate payback for you and your sponsoring company.
Q: How large is the class?
A: The class size is, on average, 35 participants. We believe this is an appropriate class size for effective learning, where interaction in the classroom is optimized. It allows for close links with faculty, high interaction between class members, and personal attention from the class manager.
Q: How heavy is the study load?
A: For each of the two monthly classes that consists of three sessions each, you should expect to use a total of approximately 10 hours for preparation.
Q: How do the in-company assignments work?
A: The purpose of the in-company assignments is to anchor the academic learning in the modules with the real world of the participants' own company. You select a relevant issue in your company and analyze it using the models, theories and tools learned at the course.
