CEMS Master's in International Management

The Global Alliance in Management Education

The CEMS MIM is a joint degree in International Management Studies developed by 26 of the best business schools in cooperation with about 60 leading corporations. The programme takes place in the 3rd and 4th semesters substituting the MSc courses of the 3rd seme ster. Upon completion, you obtain both an MSc and a CEMS MIM.
 
CEMS courses build the bridge between university education and practice. They are interactive in format and international and interdisciplinary in dimension. You must spend an academic term at one of the other CEMS partner schools.
CEMS MIM Highlights:
Block Seminar
For a week, you work intensively with professors and students from various CEMS institutions.
Business Project
By focusing on a real-life business case, jointly tutored by a company and a professor, you gain hands-on learning experience.
Skill Seminars
Skill seminars give you the essential soft skills such as communication, teamwork and presentation skills.
Languages and Communication
Speaking the relevant foreign language is essential. You are expected to become fluent in two foreign languages at a managerial level.
Internship
A minimum of ten weeks internship abroad allows you to convert your theoretical knowledge into professional experience.
Admission Requirements
In order to apply to the programme at CBS, you must be enrolled in the first semester of one of these degree programmes:
• MSc in Economics and Business Administration (Cand.merc.)
• MSc in Business, Language and Culture (Cand.merc.int.)
• MSc in International Business and Politics (Cand.merc.(pol.)).
Qualifications Profile
• Analytical and practical skills gained from courses designed by top faculty in cooperation with Corporate Partners
• Intercultural, teamwork and leadership skills gained through studies and internship abroad
• Fluency in at least three languages.
 
 
In 2011, the CEMS MIM was ranked the #2 Master’s in Management by the Financial Times, placing CEMS MIM among the leading management programmes in Europe.
