Athanasios Papakonstantinou is a Research Fellow supported by the CFEM project (Centre in Foundations of Electronic Markets) in the Economics department at the Copenhagen Business School. Athanasios received his PhD in Computer Science in the summer of 2010 from the School of Electronics and Computer Science in the University of Southampton. His PhD was funded by the UK Research Council (EPSRC) and was part of the Market Based Control Project (MBC). Athanasios's research interest lie within applied microeconomics and in particular in applications in Artificial Intelligence (Mechanism Design in Multi-Agent Systems). He is mostly interested in applications in e-commerce and energy markets from both the economist's and computer scientist's perspective.
