Brandstudies
Majken har arbejdet med virksomheders identitet, image og corporate branding. Majken ledte forskningsprojektet: ”The Challenge of the Value-based Comapany:” fra 1996-2000. Fra 2002-2005 var Majken leder af forskningsprojekt; ” The Corporate Brand Initiative”, som omhandler udvikling/implementering af corporate brands. Et netværk af førende globale virksomheder, som arbejder med corporate branding er blevet etableret, disse er bl.a.: Novo Nordisk, Telefonica, samt LEGO Group. Resultatet var bl.a. en antologi sammen med Yun Mi Antorini & Fabian F. Csaba: Corporate Branding Purpose/People/Process 2005 CBS Press
Majken er også forfatter til adskillige andre bøger, bl.a.: “The Expressive Organization” og medforfatter på ” reader on Organizational Identity”. Majken har publiceret artikler i internationale tidsskrifter som: Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, Academy of Management, Strategic Organization og Academy of Management Journal.
Siden 2000 har Majken siddet i Danske Bank samt Realdania Fonden bestyrelse. Fra 2005 sidder Majken også i COWI's bestyrelse. Majken er ligeledes medlem af kompetencerådet. Fra 2000-2003 har Majken arbejdet som konsulent for LEGO Company, med LEGO’s globale brand strategi. Derudover har Majken arbejdet med andre ledende danske virksomheder, som Unibank, Bang & Olufsen, Novo Nordisk, Danfoss og Danisco.
