Min forskning fokuserer på erhvervslivets placering i internationalt og globalt politisk samarbejde og på globaliseringens politiske aspekter.
Med en baggrund i statskundskab har min faglige hovedinteresse i mange år være international politisk økonomi. Jeg er dels optaget af teoretiske makroperspektiver på det internationale samfund i historisk perspektiv, og dels af empiriske analyser af udvalgte aspekter af verdenssamfundet. Jeg har publiceret analyser af nord-syd forholdet, amerikansk udenrigspolitik, OECDs rolle i global governance, og virksomhedernes sociale ansvar i politisk-økonomiske belysning. Teoretisk er jeg især interesseret i historiske helhedsperspektiver og i krydsfeltet mellem liberal og kritisk international politisk økonomi.
Aktuelt beskæftiger jeg mig især med emnet ’business and global governance’ og med de nye økonomiske stormagters deltagelse i transnationale politik-netværk.
