Following on the highly successful 'Worldwide Film Industries'conference first held in New York in May 2007, CinemaProject and imagine..Creative Industries Research Centre welcome researchers,academics and practitioners to this second conference on 'The Worldwide Film Industries' in Copenhagen, Denmark.

We have recieved submissions from researchers working on the production and distributional aspects of film broadly understood. The organizing committee would like to thank all the authors and co-authors for the diversity of the methodological, theoretical and geographic contributions on abstracts that have been submitted to the conference. We have received 20 papers plus a panel proposal.

The Worldwide Film Industries conference anno 2008 has ended. It was celebrated once again in London 2009 and will be celebrated again in Grenoble in 2010.
