1. Accomodation

For conference participants, a reduced rate with the Radisson SAS Falconer Hotel in Frederiksberg has been negotiated. The hotel is closely located to CBS buildings and the Frederiksberg Metro station. The rate for a single room including breakfast buffet is 1095 DKK per night and 1195 DKK for a double room. The reference number to book this offer is: R3011M. You can book these rooms either by calling +45 3815 6500 or sending a fax to +45 38 15 6501. The deadline for reserving one of the rooms is October 30th, 2005.

2. How to get from Copenhagen airport to the Conference hotel

The easiest way to get to the hotel is by taxi (approximately 25 €). Taxis can be picked up by passengers outside all arrivals areas (Terminal 1 (domestic flights) and Terminal 3).

You can of course also use the train/metro:

The ticket office is located in Terminal 3 above the railway station and tickets are also available from automatic ticket machines in the station area. There are lifts and travolators between the platforms and Terminal 3. If you are arriving in Terminal 1, please take the free shuttle bus which runs to Terminal 3, where the station is located. The busride lasts about 5 minutes.

At Norreport station, please switch from the train to the Metro station (the same ticket is valid) and take the Metro in direction of Vanlose, getting off at Frederiksberg station. The Radisson/SAS hotel in Frederiksberg is located on Falkoner Alle, so walks towards along Solbjergvej and turn right into Falkoner Alle. The hotel is located on your right hand side after approx. 150m.

 

3. Restaurants in Frederiksberg

Kindly see three of our restaurant suggestions for your stay, all located within walking distance from the Conference hotel.

A relatively expensive, but very good restaurant in Frederiksberg is “Frederiks Have” located on Smallegade 41 (The entrance on the corner to Virginiavej) and in walking distance from your hotel. If you like to reserve a table, the telephone number is +45 38 88 33 35.  The opening hours of the kitchen are Monday-Saturday from 12:00 - 14:30 and 17:00-21:30. (See www.frederikshave.dk )

One of the best Sushi restaurants in Denmark is located on Smallegade 20. Opening hours are Monday-Thursday 12:00-22:00 and Friday-Saturday 12:00-02:00.  (See www.sanshin-sushi.com )

A nice Italian restaurant “Fiasko” is located on Gammel Kongevej 176.  Opening hours are Monday-Saturday 12:00-15:00 and 17:30-22:00. If you like to reserve a table, the telephone number is +45 33 31 74 87.

 

4. How to get from the conference hotel to the conference venue

The Radisson/SAS hotel in Frederiksberg is located on Falkoner Alle and CBS Solbjerg Plads is marked with a blue dot. The easiest way to get to the CBS building is to walk (approx. 3 min. distance) along Falkoner Alle (Please turn left leaving the hotel lobby) and then turn left into Solbjerg Vej after approx. 200 metres. (The Metro station is also located here) Follow Solbjerg Vej all the way along the Frederiksberg Shopping Center. At the end of the shopping Center you will immediately see the black CBS (Solbjerg Plads 3) building and the entrance right in front of you.

 

5. How to find the conference auditorium

The Conference takes place in auditorium SPs08, which is located on the ground floor of CBS's Solbjerg Plads building. The official address is Solbjerg Plads 3, 2000 Frederiksberg.

 

 

6. Session formats

There are beamers and computers installed in all auditoriums. If you are going to use a Powerpoint presentations, please forward the file to yb.int@cbs.dk at the latest by 18:00 on November 30th. If you are still working on the presentation, please bring a USB stick. 

 

7. Conference Dinner
The conference dinner takes place December 1st at 19:30 in “Den lille Fede”, Store Kongesgade 17 København. We will meet at Frederiksberg Metro Station at 19:10 to take the Metro to the restaurant.
