About Copenhagen Business School (CBS)

.
The local organizers of this year's conference are two centers at CBS: Center for Law, Economics and Financial Institutions (LEFIC) and Center for Corporate Governance (CCG). LEFIC’s primary objective is to enhance research and education in the areas of Law and Economics, and Financial Institutions. The main focus is the way in which legal rules and regulations affect economic behaviour; how enterprises should act given existing legal frameworks and how these may be better designed so as to promote economic welfare. Corporate governance is defined as “the control and direction of companies” by ownership, boards, incentive systems and other mechanisms. CCG is a virtual forum for the advancement of knowledge in this area. It is a truly interdisciplinary center comprised of researchers in finance, economics, accounting, law, management and international business as well as business people, auditors and government officials.

Public transport and tickets
Public transport in Copenhagen is safe and reliable. Both trains, metro and buses run frequently and efficiently.
If you want to travel with public transport you can choose between tickets and travel cards (10-trip card) – if you travel several people together we recommend travel cards. Tickets and travel cards are available from the DSB tickets offices at the stations and from automatic ticket machine and in most kiosks. Remember to stamp the travel card in the stamp machine at the station or in the bus before departure.
If you arrive by flight tickets and travel cards are available from the DSB ticket office above the railway station in Terminal 3. If you have reserved one of the hotels that are mentioned under accommodation you need a 3-zone ticket (the price is DDK 28,50 = €3,8) or a 3-zone travel card (10-trip card costs DKK 160 = €21,5).
Between your hotel if you have reserved one of the hotels that are mentioned under accommodation you need a 2- zone ticket (the price is DDK 19 = €2,6) or a 2-zone travel card (10-trip card costs DKK 120 = €16,1).
