Call for Papers
The 24th Annual Conference of the European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) will be held on September 13-15, 2007 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The conference is organized by two centres at Copenhagen Business School, the Center for Law, Economics and Financial Institutions (LEFIC), in cooperation with the Center for Corporate Governance.
Those interested in presenting a paper are invited to submit an electronic copy of the final paper or an outline attached to an e-mail message to both
lefic.ivs@cbs.dk and
eale2007@cbs.dk. Please make sure the outline is at least 2 pages long.
The submission deadline is April 1st, 2007.
Papers may be on any topic in or related to Law and Economics with particular emphasis on:
1. European and International Law and Economics; 2. Property, including Intellectual Property; 3. Torts and Crimes; 4. Contracts and Contractual Regulation; 5. Corporate Law and Economics and Corporate Governance; 6. Legal Rule-making, including Litigation; 7. Market and Non-market Regulation; 8. Law and Public Policy; 9. Behavioral Law and Economics; 10. Constitutional and Administrative Law and Economics; 11. Bankruptcy and Financial Regulation.
Papers will be selected by a committee consisting of Hans-Bernd Schäfer (University of Hamburg), Bruno Deffains (University of Nancy), Jochen Bigus (University of Osnabrueck), Henrik Lando (Copenhagen Business School), and Giuseppe Dari-Mattiacci (University of Amsterdam). The members of the committee will not be allowed to submit papers to the Conference. Papers co-authored by them cannot be submitted either.
Acceptance of proposals will be communicated by May 15th, 2007. A copy of the completed paper should be sent to the local organizers by July 15th, 2007.
