The conference will focus on the following four essential themes:

1) New Aims and Values of the EU?,

2) The Relationship between Prohibitions against Discrimination and Integration of Welfare Functions into EU law

3) Liberalization of Public Welfare Services

4) Union Citizens and Migrant Workers.

The conference is part of the project “Blurring Boundaries: EU Law and the Danish Welfare State” which has received funding from the Danish Social Science Research Council.
