The focus of the conference is on the changes in the legal methods and relative importance of various sources of law that occur in connection with the on-going development of EU law as an interactive, multi-layered legal order and on contrasting traditional legal research methods with broader social and humanistic science approaches, including political science perspectives on EU law as a multi-level governance system.
