What are the development effects of growing outsourcing to developing countries?

The Outsourcing for Development Project will analyze, how outsourcing collaborations impacts the market access, technology stage, organization, capabilities, and strategies of firms located in developing countries. The project will emphasize Danish firm’s outsourcing collaborations with local firms in six developing countries: China, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, South Africa and Ghana.

The Outsourcing for Development Project has been funded by the Council for Development Research and is carried out by the Business in Development Group which consists of researchers from the Copenhagen Business School and Aalborg University. Coordinator is Michael W. Hansen, mwh.ikl@cbs.dk
