After your orientation, we would set about analysing the problem and presenting a series of alternative solutions from which you may choose. These solutions might be based on an analysis of gender differences, age group expectations, national markets, varied cultural perceptions, environmental issues, etc. They would also involve the creation of one or more scents, and the appropriate methods of integrating them to meet your specific needs.
For example, an international airline company wishes to brand itself in a unique way. In response, we develop a logo scent to symbolically represent the ideals that the client wishes to express: efficiency, safety, comfort, service, and care. The scent is then produced in forms which are subtly integrated in the airline company’s plane cabins, business class lounges, reservation offices, tickets, stationery items, and all other forms of passenger communication. In this way, the power of the sense of smell is utilised to enhance and serve the client’s corporate branding, which moves from the purely visual to a more total sensory experience. Potential links to emotion and recollection in the brain, which are exclusive to olfactory stimuli because of their direct cerebral apprehension, may thus be brought into full play.
