The search for competitive advantage serves as the basis for organizational strategy. This book argues that organizational design and management processes may be strategic resources in their own right. This new way of looking at organization and management requires a search for new ways of structering organizational design and managerial processes.
The points are driven home through case studies of the Danish firms LEGO Group, Vestas Wind Systems, Coloplast, Chr. Hansen, IC Companys and NKT Flexibles.

A recent report published by SMG faculty member Dana Minbaeva, Associate Professor in SHRM, in cooperation with Steen Navrbjerg, Associate Professor at FAOS, Department of Sociology, KU, receives a good resonance in the Danish media:
Ass. Prof. Phillip Nell new CEMS Academic Director at CBS
SMG faculty member Phillip Nell takes over the CEMS Academic Director position as of January, 2012. CEMS is a strategic alliance of leading business schools and multinational companies. In his function as CEMS Academic Director, Phillip’s main tasks will be centered on coordinating the CEMS program at CBS and to represent CBS in the Academic Committee of the CEMS Alliance.
SMG Copenhagen Prize 2011
SMG was once again handing out the SMG Copenhagen Prize at the annual EIBA-conference. The winners of the SMG Copenhagen Prize 2011 are Virginia Hernandez & Maria Jesus Nieto, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain.
