Min forskning undersøger hvordan forskellige typer aktører kommunikerer viden, innovation og ekspertise. Det vil sige, at jeg interesserer mig for, hvordan forskellige faggrupper udvikler og forhandler viden – og hvordan det kan lykkes for dem at skabe fælles forståelse, stabile relationer og konkrete produkter (f.eks. tekster, modeller eller teknologier). Teoretisk interesserer jeg mig for at undersøge, hvordan kommunikation og organisering foregår i netværk, som ikke blot involverer mennesker, men også teknologier, symboler, værdier og mange andre typer elementer. Jeg har en tværfaglig baggrund i sociologi, kommunikation og mediestudier, og det er denne kombination jeg trækker på i min empiriske forskning.
