From Victims to Heroes? Rethinking the Role of Users in Technology
with Nelly Oudshoorn, Professor in Technology Dynamics and Health Care, University of Twente, the Netherlands.
In her lecture Nelly Oudshoorn will discuss the different conceptualizations of user-technology relations that have been introduced by scholars in innovation studies, technology studies, feminist studies and cultural studies and conclude that we should go beyond a view on users as victims or heroes.
