Mine forskningsinteresser ligger inden for områderne virksomhedssamarbejde, industriel dynamik og udvikling, læring og innovation, industrielle klynger, innovationssystemer samt økonomisk globalisering. Empirisk arbejder jeg primært med den danske maritime klynge (der har søfart, maritime tjenesteydelser, skibsbygning, udstyrsleverancer og offshoreudvinding som kerneindustrier samt Søværnet, fiskeri og fritidssejllads som tilknyttede industrier) og med den danske logistik- og vognmandsbranche.
