901: Weekend Chinese Course 1

Prerequisite/progression of the course
For students from 3rd to 9th grade, who may be adopted by Danish family and have no Chinese background.
Aim of the course
Happy Chinese is for young students. The textbook's colorful illustrations add meaningful context to words and situations to make each lesson appealing to young students. In simplified Chinese characters, Pinyin, and English. Great for young students who learn Chinese as a foreign language from the beginner's level.
Course content, structure and teaching
 
This is a weekend course from September 1 to October 6, 2012.
There are 6 lessons on Saturdays, each lesson 3 hours.
Time: Saturdays, 10:00 – 13:00

Learning Objectives
Through the study, students will acquire a primary understanding of Chinese language, and have more understanding and interests in Chinese culture.

In Danish, English and Chinese. Listening and speaking, with videos, music and games.
Examination
For those who want to find out how much they have learned through this course, there is an elective Youth Chinese Test (YCT), which can be taken online at:
Please choose the level that suits you. You need a test ID (username) and password to take the test online. Please ask the teacher of this course to create a valid ID and password for you.
There could be an informal classroom test by the end of this course, if the teacher thinks it is a good way to test the students' knowledge.
