Visiting Fulbright Chair in American Studies at CSA 2008-2009
Efter at have taget afsked med Richard Millet, bød centret i August velkommen til ny Fulbright Professor Raymond J. Haberski Jr
.
Ray har specialiseret sig inden for følgende områder:
- U.S. Cultural and intellectual history,
- U.S. Movie culture, U.S. Religion and society,
- U.S. Religion and political ideologies,
- current trends in U.S. culture, and
- society and politics.
Ray bliver på CBS indtil Juni 2009. I efteråret holdt Ray Haberski forelæsningen Shoot the messenger
- a discussion about offending in the movies. Forelæsning tog udgangspunkt i hans seneste bog The miracle case: Film censorship and the Supreme Court.
