In the end of February, Edward Ashbee visited the Center for U.S.-Mexico Studies at the University of Texas at Dallas. He was invited to participate as Senior Speaker in the U.S.-Mexico Lecture Series 2007-2008. The series constitutes one of the fundamental components of the Center's agenda.

The Center for U.S.-Mexico Studies at the University of Texas at Dallas has existed for 10 years, refleceting the importance of Mexico to the United States and, specifically, to the northern portion of Texas, in the context of historical mutual understanding and co-existence of both nations.
