LIMAC (Language, Law, Information, operations Management and Accounting and Culture) is a multidisciplinary PhD school consisting of 5 PhD Programmes – the PhD programme in informatics, technologies of managing, commercial law, language and accounting and auditing.
LIMAC has been created in order to exploit synergies between the different programmes and disciplines within the PhD school. The primary objective of the school is to support PhD students’ development as researchers within an international and Danish context through assuring quality and development of the PhD programmes.
The doctoral school is responsible for the following functions:
  • To be a forum for the development of ideas and practices in the local PhD programme.
  • To develop and assure the quality of PhD supervision.
  • Writing and managing cross disciplinary projects under the PhD. School.
  • To administrate activities for the individual PhD programmes.
e research environment and the 5 PhD programme are therefore responsible for a number of functions:
  • Development of courses and attraction of top international researchers.
  • The development and maintenance of a stimulating research environment for the PhD students.
  • Administration and management of PhD. activities e.g. courses.
  • Contact to national and international research networks.
The doctoral school is managed by the director of the PhD programme and the study board. The study board consists of the 5 programme coordinators and 5 PhD students.
