The project is initiated to explore the challenges that professional-as-manager faces in a changing institutional context.

How can the professionals meaningfully construct themselves as managers? And what happens if the role of manager – or at least the tasks and functions – is not properly institutionalized in a PSF? The project focus on how the construction of the manager role affects the establish, maintenance and disruption of institutional frameworks. This project is inspired by institutional theory and sensemaking theory.
