New Book: Leading with Wisdom
In order to examine the interplay between spirituality and management, Peter Pruzan and Kirsten Pruzan Mikkelsen have interviewed top managers from 15 countries in six parts of the world together with two American consultants.
In the book ‘Leading with Wisdom’ (Ledelse med Visdom), 29 portraits show that spiritually oriented executives can be successful, content, acknowledging, tranquil while at the same time taking into consideration their employees and others affected by their management style.
The book has many interesting and down-to-earth stories. It portrays a new, cutting-edge way of understanding practical leadership where spirituality and rationality go hand in hand with management and life in general.
The development of spiritually oriented management can be viewed as an overall perspective on other recent approaches to management, such as corporate ethics, value management, corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
