Interested in Management of Self-Management? (in Danish)

The research project “Management of Self-Management” will be hosting a series of open seminars in the spring 2010. Self management entails that employees manage their thoughts, ideas, emotions and actions contributing to their own development and creating value for the company, all at the same time. However, stress and stress-related depression among employees are some of the main challenges in self-management.
Assistant Professor Rasmus Johnsen, CBS Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy, will give a first seminar called “The Imagery of Pain – Philosophical Perspectives on Stress and Depression in the History of Melancholy”. During the seminar Rasmus Johnson will talk about three philosophical themes in the history of melancholy.
