Conference: Making Sense of Media Business

The conference “Making Sense of Media Business” presents research about current trends in media development. It will focus on the newest structural changes in European media, media competition and cooperation, policy response, new business models and the role of public service media in the future.
The invited speakers are recruited from the Euromedia Research Group consisting of members from 25 European research institutions. The group has monitored these developments closely over the past three decades and will present following keynote speakers:
- Professor Anker Brink Lund, CBS Center for Business and Politics: Current Business Challenges for Print Media
- Professor Leen d-Haens, University of Nijmegen: Public Television in the Global Marketplace
- Professor Josef Trappel, University of Zürich: Emerging Online Media in Europe
The conference is arranged in collaboration with FUHU, and it will take place on 12 February 2010 from 13:00-16:00 at CBS, Ovnhallen, Porcelænshaven 20, Frederiksberg. Admission is free but registration is necessary. Please e-mail hj.cbp@cbs.dk to register.
