New CBS Leadership Lab
The need to strengthen research within management and leadership has become apparent - both when it comes to supplementary training and the ordinary degree programmes. Management and leadership are central elements in terms of both research and training at Copenhagen Business School.
Therefore CBS has launched a research unit, which is able to meet the increasing demand and ensure a larger degree of coherence across focus areas.
“Leadership is an essential part of management. Our objective is to strengthen our research and teaching within this field. It is mainly about the more person-focused part of management, which has grown more and more important. It is no longer enough to focus on old-time values such as planning, finance, and marketing. The ability to set the agenda, create understanding, and communicate is becoming more and more important,” says Flemming Poulfelt, who will be in charge of the new centre.
